Outrigger Burleigh, Gold Coast

I stayed at this hotel that seemed to be in a bit of a transitional phase. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made up for some of the wear in the facilities. My room was clean, but older and in need of some renovations. The location was great, very close to the beach, but the dining options could use improvement, especially for breakfast. Overall, it was decent for the price, but could definitely use some upgrades.

I stayed for just one night, and while it was affordable, the overall experience was pretty disappointing. The room was large, but it really showed its age and was poorly maintained, making it uncomfortable for anything longer than a quick stop. While the bed was decent, the facilities were lacking and didn't meet my expectations at all.

I had a pleasant stay, enjoying the clean and tidy rooms which were quite comfortable. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and nearby shops. However, there were some issues with the bathroom cleanliness and the lack of matching items in the room. The manager was welcoming, but the situation with my early departure and the non-refundable payment was frustrating.

I had the holiday of a lifetime at the Outrigger, perfect for my month-long stay in Australia. The rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds, providing great value for money in an ideal location. The pool was lovely and a highlight of my stay. However, I found the rooms a tad small and was disappointed about the missing cups for tea and coffee in the kitchenette, which could have enhanced my experience.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, which really turned around after an initial hiccup with our first room. The staff were incredibly accommodating and genuinely cared about our experience. The location is fantastic with easy access to the beach and local amenities. However, one minor drawback was the strong cigarette smell in the first room we checked into.
